This project is a series of self-portrait collages, each image is torn or cut and then put back together, materialising the mental process of making sense of myself. With this, both the visual and the meaning of the image are changed, this process can be compared to working on oneself - it is a meditative, immersive activity where the end result is a reflection of how much I have learned during the process and how much I was able to work on it. I am focused on myself, putting myself together with my own hands and witnessing my own transformation.
